Prince Of Peace News

For Your Information:

At the December 2008 congregational meeting, the members of Prince of Peace voted to help support the Trinity/Hope Mission in Haiti.  We will have a special collection the 3rd Sunday of every month for the newly adopted project to help feed and assist Haitian children who attend Lutheran schools.  We have adopted and sponsor one school (La Viste) which now feeds 86 students.   $0.29 feeds a child a meal every day.  $50 provides that child with 172 meals.  Only twenty percent of the children have enough to eat at home each night.  Fifty percent of the children will not have food at home in a 24 hour period.  One hundred percent of the children are taught about the life and love of Jesus Christ.

 IN OUR PRAYERS:

Ruth Douville, Rob (Throat cancer) and Tom Bennett (Heart Problems), Mary Unterborn (Breast Cancer), Larry Nichols (Healing from thyroidectomy), David Beam (Blood clots in legs), Gordon Beuhler (Shoulder Surgery), and LaDonna Koopman (Back Surgery).
