As Lutheran women of Prince of Peace, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support Missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.
Who we are and what we do:
Women of Life is a Small Group at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church which is open to all the women of the congregation. What began as a way for women to get together for lunch and enjoy each other’s company, soon evolved into a philanthropic group that gives back to the church, the Mesquite community, our veterans and to Christian Missions world-wide, to name a few. Each year we hold a craft and bake sale to give us the funds to support these endeavors.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month at noon. We still have our brown bag lunches in the church Fellowship Hall, as well as the occasional restaurant luncheon where we continue to enjoy each other’s company.
